A global French anchoring
At 3.8 ALLÉE FAUVE, Made in France is not a label.
It is a way of thinking, creating, shaping.
From design to materials, through to craftsmanship,
every step is part of an exacting French approach,
conceived as a coherent whole, guided by intention and consistency.
It is a choice in favour of exceptional savoir-faire,
controlled traceability,
and limited distances travelled.
Design
The design of 3.8 ALLÉE FAUVE pieces is conceived in Paris, by the founder of the Maison.
Each creation unfolds through a dialogue between sacred geometry, the symbolic treatment of volume and material, and the animal and mineral realms.
Design thus becomes a sensitive architecture, imbued with meaning.
Materials
The Maison’s French anchoring is expressed through a rigorous selection of materials. Each material is chosen for its nobility, its traceability, and its environmental coherence.
The vast majority of materials — precious marine leathers, fine art jewellery and gilding, cords, as well as fabrics and labels — are produced by French ateliers. Often family-run, and for the most part recognised as French Living Heritage houses, they uphold exceptional savoir-faire.
When the environmental excellence sought cannot be found in France, the Maison turns to its closest European partners. This is the case for the presentation cases.
The only exceptions are Peace Silk, produced by a collective of women in India perpetuating a unique non-violent silk-making tradition, and semi-precious stones, for which India remains the historic centre.
Craftsmanship
Craftsmanship is carried out entirely in France.
In Paris and the Loire Valley, Artisans d’Art bring 3.8 ALLÉE FAUVE pieces to life, entirely handcrafted. Each step respects the rhythm of the material and the singularity of the object.
This is not about production, but about shaping.
About transmitting, through the gesture, an exacting vision of contemporary French haute leather craftsmanship.
